Individual Tax Services

Individual tax preparation is the foundation of our practice. We file federal and state returns for clients in every state, and we stay in contact through the year so the return you sign in April reflects decisions you were able to act on the previous July.

What we prepare

We handle the full range of personal tax situations, from straightforward W-2 returns to multi-state K-1 income with rental property, investment transactions, and foreign reporting. The return itself is only part of the work; most clients stay because we pick up the phone in May when something unusual comes up.

  • Federal Form 1040 and every state return your situation touches
  • Estate and trust returns (Form 1041) for executors and trustees
  • Amended returns (Form 1040-X) for any year still within the three-year refund window
  • Year-round tax planning, not just an April appointment

Filing in all 50 states

Our Boynton Beach office serves South Florida in person, and we file remotely for clients across the country. Federal returns are federal. State returns are where the complexity lives: part-year residency, non-resident income, state-specific credits, and reciprocity rules all get handled without a dozen back-and-forth emails.

Have a specific situation?
Call the office and a human answers.

How the engagement works

You send us documents through our secure portal or drop them at the office. We prepare the return, send you a draft to review, walk through the numbers on a call if needed, and e-file on your authorization. Most clients finish the process in under two weeks during non-peak months.

Common questions

Do you file in states outside Florida?
Yes. We file federal returns plus every state return our clients need. That includes part-year state returns, non-resident returns, and multi-state filings for clients who worked remotely across state lines.
What documents do I need to send you?
Every return is different, but the core list is W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, brokerage statements, mortgage interest statements, and documentation for any deductions or credits you plan to claim. Our Tax Prep Checklist covers most situations.
Can you work with me remotely?
Yes. Most of our out-of-state clients work with us entirely remotely through secure document exchange and phone or video calls.
