Tax Services in Broward County

Broward County clients either drive north to our Boynton Beach office for annual appointments or work with us remotely year-round. Deerfield, Pompano, Fort Lauderdale, and Parkland make up most of our Broward client base.

Remote-first for most Broward clients

Broward is a short drive, but 'short' in South Florida depends on the time of day. Most Broward clients use our secure portal for document exchange and phone or video for consultations. In-office appointments available during tax season.

What the practice covers, one county north

Full practice offerings.

  • Personal income tax preparation (federal + state)
  • S-corp, partnership, and corporate returns
  • Bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks support
  • IRS and state audit representation
  • Business formation and Florida compliance

The Broward client mix

The county's tax profile runs wide: marine trades and charter operators around Pompano and Fort Lauderdale, small and mid-size business owners across the inland suburbs, retirees in Deerfield's condo communities, and high-income households in Parkland and Coral Springs. Each brings different filings, from Schedule C and payroll to trust returns and equity compensation, and we handle all of it from one desk.

Broward property tax notes

The homestead exemption, Save Our Homes cap, and portability all work the same as anywhere in Florida, but the filings go through the Broward County Property Appraiser. Moving between Broward and Palm Beach County does not reset your Save Our Homes savings; portability applies statewide, and we flag it whenever a client moves.

When the IRS writes to a Broward address

IRS notices don't require you to drive anywhere. With a signed power of attorney we respond directly, by mail and phone, and keep you copied. Most notices resolve with a well-documented letter; the ones that don't get full representation.

Common questions

Can I drop off documents?
Yes. Our Boynton Beach office accepts drop-offs during business hours, or you can upload to the secure portal from anywhere.
Do I ever need to come to Boynton Beach?
No. The entire engagement can run through the portal, phone, and electronic signature. Some clients like one in-person meeting a year during tax season; it's optional.
Can you run my Broward business's payroll remotely?
Yes. Payroll, bookkeeping, and QuickBooks support are all delivered remotely, with filings made electronically on schedule.
I moved from Broward to Palm Beach County mid-year. Does anything change?
Federally, nothing. For property tax, you file a new homestead application in the new county and can port your Save Our Homes benefit, which we'll remind you to do before the March 1 deadline.
